My thesis is an installation that includes drawing and video. I will make the drawings while I am researching crazy women. Some of videos will document the process of making the installation.

The crazy woman that often appears in my paintings can now come out from 2D space, and become 3D so she can talk, laugh and dance. I will create a small room with 5 stations, each representing one of the 5 senses of a crazy woman For me, the power that emerges from the unconscious of the crazy woman, symbolizes the artistic and spiritual aspects of a person. Perhaps a crazy person is simply a person who cannot think in a logical way. If I were crazy I might be able to see, smell, touch, hear and taste without analyzing my sensations.

My thesis is a self-portrait of myself as a crazy woman. As a stranger in another culture, alienated from everything, but at the same time in envy of the "everything" I don’t completely understand, I make my own crazy world with never-ending possibilities to create something new. That is why I want to be like a crazy woman.
